Plasma Canon

With my Dark Angels I generally use red fairly sparingly compared to the official codex color scheme. Generally I don’t paint entire gun casings red, opting to use red instead for smaller details such as the grips and handles.

However given how awesome this plasma canon and devastator marine is with all of the iconography and detail I felt it was appropriate to use full red on the gun in this instance.

I am pretty happy with how it turned out, hes a real eye catching model. I found the key with the blue coils and wires was to highlight them all the way to pure white, gives them the impression of glowing with heat.
